Packaging company in the US, Menasha has announced plans to invest $6m in a bid to expand its food packaging business.
The company plans to purchase a large printing press from Germany-based Heidelberg Druckmaschinen, in addition to die-cutters, tape-applicators and other automated assembly equipment.
According to Menasha, the latest investment will enable it to print grabbier graphics and nimble brand management in the food packaging, shipping containers and corrugated materials it produces.
Menasha Packaging executive James Snyder said, "In today's marketplace, consumer packaged goods customers seek innovative solutions as well as support of their speed-to-market needs."
Menasha Packaging is the biggest part of Menasha and has more than 2,300 employees nationwide.
