The Blaenau Gwent plant closure plan was announced earlier this year with the loss of 67 jobs.
The company is switching its carton packaging operation to its plant in Milton Keynes.
It also faces an impairment charge of 1.4m in relation to the site and assets.
Up to 27 new jobs will be created in Milton Keynes as a result of a 4m investment programme linked with its Rubicon and KA juice drink brands.
"As a consequence of the planned closure of the Tredegar site, we have recognised 1.0m of redundancy related costs,” AG Barr said in a statement.
In May the company, which makes Irn-Bru and Rubicon, pledged to offer employees to relocate the Milton Keynes site where possible.
