A new glass factory has opened at Tyube (Kumtorkalinsky District, Dagestan), RIA Novosti reports.
Construction of the factory started in 2011. 50 hectares of land were granted for the project. It is worth about 10.5 billion rubles, 30% of which were granted by the local budget and 70% by the federal. The facility will start sales of its products in January-February and will pay off in 7 years.
The North Caucasian Federal District, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Western Ukraine and Iran will be the main buyers of the float glass the factory will produce. Float glass is used in construction.
