Environmental Packaging International (EPI) and Sustainable Packaging Alliance (SPA) have signed an agreement to establish channel partnership in the North American market.
EPI will sell licenses to Packaging Impact Quick Evaluation Tool (PIQET), a streamlined Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and eco-design tool, as part of the deal.
PIQET, which can be used in packaging design, is a software providing information on a series of environmental life cycle indicators and packaging attributes for users.
Account management services including training and technical support will also be offered by EPI for PIQET clients.
Sustainable Packaging Alliance CEO Leanne Fitzpatrick said the channel partnership has been launched to support rapid expansion of PIQET.
"With EPI's reach and expertise, our Channel Partner agreement presents a great opportunity for SPA and PIQET, as well as our clients," Fitzpatrick added.
