German carmaker Volkswagen will unveil the R-Line version of the Passat CC four-door coupe at the Auto Mobil International show in Leipzig, Germany on 1 June 2012.
The new car will go on sale in the US market by the end of the year, powered by a 200-horsepower, 2.0 liter turbocharged TSI engine, mated to either a six-speed manual or a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
According to the company, the new R-Line CC gets many upgrades in terms of looks, interior and equipments.
The VW CC R-Line is fitted with side skirts and the R-Line logo on the grille, shaded taillights and 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels.
It will also feature standard Bi-Xenon headlights with LED Daytime Running Lights and the Adaptive Front-lighting System; LED taillights; LED license-plate illumination; rain-sensing windshield wipers; Climatronic automatic climate-control; heated 12-way power front seats.
The company said that the CC was refreshed for the 2013 model year, featuring new front and rear styling and an extended range of standard equipment.
