China is Germany's biggest computer import source country from 2010 to 2012. Czech and The United States ranked the second and the third separately. Among the above twenty import source countries, the export value of Vietnam increased the largest. Germany's import value of computer from Vietnam in 2012 increased by 964.73% compared to the same period of 2010, while that from South Korea decreased by 77.12% compared to the same period of 2010.
From 2010 to 2012, Germany's import value from Philippines, Malaysia and Vietnam increased year by year, while import value from China, UK, Poland, Switzerland and South Korea decreased year by year.

From 2010 to 2012, about half of Germany's computers were imported from China. Among Germany’s top twenty import markets, the import value percentage of USA, Taiwan, Austria, Vietnam, Malaysia and Philippines continued to increase, and that of UK, Switzerland, South Korea and Poland continued to decrease.

Germany's import value of computer from Jan. to May in 2013 amounted to 7.12 billion US dollars, with a decrease of 5.05% compared to the same period of 2012. China was still Germany's biggest computer import source country, but the market share decreased from nearly 1/2 to less than 1/3, and the lost market share mainly flowed to Netherlands and Czech. In addition, Vietnam rose from the fifteenth in 2012 to the fourth among Germany's computer import source countries, and the market share rose from less than 1 per thousand in 2010 to 3.28%.
