Koenig & Bauer (KBA) is set to exhibit a range of packaging print solutions at this year’s Pack Print International event in Bangkok, Thailand.
The event will take place between 20 and 23 September at the Bangkok Trade & Exhibition Centre.
At the event, KBA-Sheetfed Solutions, KBA Asia-Pacific and the firm’s regional sales agencies will showcase comprehensive product portfolio for packaging printers.
The firm’s Italian subsidiary KBA-Flexotecnica will also present its flexible packaging printing solutions at the event.
According to KBA, Thailand is one of the potent buyers of printing presses in the region and the country's packaging printers are showing significant interest in Rapida sheetfed offset presses.
Thailand’s packaging firms such as T.C.P. Industry and VNT Interprint were invested in Rapida 106 presses to enhance production operations.
Last year, T.C.P. Industry had installed plinth-mounted Rapida 106 with six printing units, inline coater and extended delivery, as well as QualiTronic Professional system for inline colour density control and sheet inspection.
VNT Interprint invested in six-colour Rapida 106 coater press, while Continental Packaging installed Rapida 105 PRO in an eight-colour version with additional coater and extended delivery for both conventional and UV inks and coatings.
Vietnamese firm Goldsun Packaging & Printing has also invested in three firm’s presses, including Rapida 105 coater press and six-colour Rapida 105 with coater and extended delivery.
KBA offers various technologies for multiple printing markets ranging from banknotes through cardboard, foil, metal and glass packaging to book, display, marking, magazine, advertising and newspaper printing.
