Global packaging technologies supplier Romaco has announced the extension of its Macofar brand’s LF 200 product family.
The new Macofar LF 200 FD, used for filling of pharmaceutical sprays, nose and ear drops, has a maximum output of 12,000 bottles an hour and a filling volume of up to 100ml. It is suitable for glass and plastic containers 16 to 80ml in diameter and 35 to 200ml in height with a filling volume of 0.5 to 500ml.
Another new model belonging to the same family, the Macofar LF 200 FS fills the containers in a continuous process at a maximum rate of 12,000 bottles an hour and is suited for processing pharmaceutical liquids that are orally administered or applied to mucous membranes.
The Macofar LF 200 FC has been developed for filling pharmaceutical syrups of almost any viscosity and has a maximum filling speed of 4,500 bottles an hour with a filling volume of up to 250ml.
According to Romaco, the Macofar LF 200 ST, developed in response to the growing demand for high-speed machines to fill sterile liquids into vials, is said to achieve a maximum output of 12,000 vials an hour.
Conceived as a standalone unit for processing non-sterile liquids such as cosmetics, healthcare products or nutraceuticals, the Macofar LF 200 SA can be supplied with various dosing and volumetric pump systems depending on product type.
