Pharmaceutical packaging solutions provider Travtec has introduced a new tamper-evident labeling system, the Travtec Labello 3.
This system applies non-resealable clear labels to both openings of a carton, besides also possessing the capacity to affix the labels required for pharmacist dispensed drugs in the Italian and French markets, according to packagingeurope.com.
The system comprises a precision multi-belt conveyor with a synchronized top hold down belt that keeps cartons stable while they are presented to the label applicators, after which a series of label heads then place the clear labels over each opening and any additional label on the front face of the pack.
