Global pharmaceutical company Pfizer has selected Canada-based Global Vision for worldwide deployment as its proofreading technology solution provider.
According to Global Vision, the deployment will enable Pfizer to drive consistency, cut down costs and subjectivity for artwork and labeling verification throughout the complete packaging workflow process.
A project team was formed within Pfizer to evaluate different technologies that could enhance packaging quality, in a bid to identify, recommend and implement a global harmonized proofreading technology.
The technologies selected by Pfizer include Docu-Proof, Digital-Page, ScanTVS and BarProof.
Global Vision president Reuben Malz said, "As a global pharmaceutical leader, Pfizer's decision to deploy Global Vision's suite of inspection solutions will help ensure that the high quality control standards, synonymous with Pfizer, are maintained."
