Investment firm Larsen MacColl Partners has acquired packaging solution providers S Walter Packaging for an undisclosed amount.
S Walter works on designing, sourcing and delivering coordinated packaging solutions to branded consumer products and companies. It handles customers from global as well as small and medium sized businesses and supplies its goods to over 10,000 customers across North America.
Kurt Koloseike, who was formerly the chief executive officer of flag and banner manufacturing businesses in the US, FlagZone, has been named the new CEO.
Commenting on the strategic alliance, Koloseike added, "This is the beginning of an exciting new era for S. Walter. We will continue to enhance our leading design, operational, customer service and logistics capabilities to serve our national accounts and small and medium sized businesses.
"We have a strong balance sheet and the operational and financial resources needed to hire additional talent and pursue strategic acquisitions for long term growth. I look forward to leading a very talented and committed team into the future."
While NewSpring Mezzanine and Wells Fargo Bank provided the financing for the acquisition, Miller & Martin acted as legal counsel to Larsen MacColl.
