HB Fuller has introduced its new Sesame High Modulus Tape, which can be used in retail-ready packaging.
With the help of the new Sesame High Modulus Tape, corrugated packaging designers can help produce manufacturers protect their yields.
According to the company, the tape offers improved bulge resistance and improved stacking longevity to trays, which are used in retail packaging.
The tape will help to reduce bottom sag in a humid environment in horizontally-corrugated trays, and about 45% reduction in sag in cold humid conditions in the same trays.
Sesame High Modulus Tape is said to maximize stacking strength and reduces stack failure with good reinforcement.
HB Fuller adhesive coated solutions global business director Peter Lockey said the new tape is the result of years of developing reinforcement technology for the packaging industry.
"This is a proven fiber technology that will give our corrugated packaging customers confidence that their boxes, trays and bins will hold up better - even in the most challenging environments," Lockey added.
