North American printing and packaging company EFI said it will replace two MIS/ERP systems with EFI Radius of K-1 Packaging Group for its packaging and label operations in City of Industry, California.
With this partnership, EFI will let K-1 to concentrate on efficiency and accelerated customer service for its consumer product customers.
Different product workflows, processes and information currently confined to separate management systems will be consolidated with the installation, boosting K-1 Packaging's operational efficiency, said the company.
K-1 Packaging President Mike Tsai said the benefits of a tightly integrated system can be witnessed that can accommodate all of K-1's production processes and minimize burdensome system workarounds.
"EFI Radius is designed specifically for packaging workflows and will make our entire management process cleaner and more streamlined," he said. "It's going to allow us to capitalize on the huge opportunity we have to become a tighter, more knowledgeable organization," said Tsai.
EFI Radius is part of EFI's complete end-to-end workflow and production portfolio, which also includes eCommerce and web to print solutions, digital front ends and digital inkjet printers.
