Tru-Vision Plastics Has Invested in New Equipment and Moved to a Bigger Facility

Tru-Vision Plastics, a custom converter based in Texas, has invested in new equipment and moved from its existing 24,000ft2 facility to a new 80,000ft2 one.

Tru-Vision president and CEO Ted Dean said the growth has been steady rather than spontaneous, said plasticsnews.com.

According to the firm, it makes safety equipment, like visors and lenses, in addition to retail merchandising products, and one of its successful products has been the Stic-N-Pic, an adhesive retail merchandise display strip.

According to the firm, retailers use the strips with spots on adhesives, to display items at point-of-sale locations, the firm said.

Tru-Vision registered sales of $2.4m in 2011, while it expects to achieve over $3m in 2012.
