Krones Transferred Its Valve Technology Business to New Domestic Stand-Alone Subsidiary

German packaging technology provider Krones has transferred its valve technology business to its new domestic stand-alone subsidiary called Evoguard to improve sales in sectors outside the food and beverage industry.

Located in Nittenau, Evoguard started business operations at the start of January 2014.

Krones began development of its own series of valves aimed for the food and beverage industry as well as the dairy sector under the name of Evoguard several years ago.

Currently, Krones offers a complete customer specific product range for the food, beverage and dairy industries apart from the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.

Evoguard valves are produced in Nittenau, where the 4,000m2 manufacturing and administration building houses the R&D, design, sales and assembly operations. It intends to offer components for modern production facilities of existing and new customers and achieve profitable growth in the near future.
