Sappi Packaging and Speciality Papers is set to exhibit its carton and paper-based packaging solutions at FachPack 2016 in Nuremberg, Germany.
The company will showcase sustainable carton and paper-based packaging solutions for containerboard, rigid packaging, flexible packaging, label papers and functional papers at the event, which is being held from 27 to 29 September.
Sappi will exhibit bright white Fusion topliner and Ultraflute for the corrugated cardboard market.
Fusion topliner offers better surface finish and enhanced colour brilliance with high shelf impact for brand differentiation.
Ultraflute, which is a new paper for corrugating liners and fluting, contains fresh fibres from semi-chemical pulp. It is suitable for high-end applications.
The company will also showcase bright white coated Algro Design, which can be used for folding cartons containing products such as cosmetics, perfume, premium chocolate and confectionery.
Sappi will exhibit other coated and uncoated papers for the flexible packaging and labels market.
The products comprise of papers for food and non-food applications such as sachets, pouches and wrappers, in addition to the range of self-adhesive and wet-glue labels.
The company has developed Algro Guard OHG paper-based packaging solution for flexible packaging applications. It includes barriers against oxygen, grease, water vapours and mineral oil mixtures.
Belgian chocolate manufacturer Delafaille selected Algro Guard for its new luxury Amusette brand.
