Agr International is all set to exhibit a range of products designed for the measurement and quality management of beverage containers at the 2013 Drinktec show.
Agr will initially introduce its Process Pilot automated blowmolder management system that interfaces with the blowmolder to provide material thickness distribution management on PET bottles.
The system enables bottle producers to light weight bottles to the absolute minimum. It makes it possible to produce bottles on a 24/7 basis consistently.
According to the company, the system is suited for blow-fill operations where bottle quality is critical and downtime is costly.
At the event, Agr will also feature the Dimensional Sampling Gauge, a vision-based dimensional measuring system which has been designed for the precision measurement of glass, plastic or aluminum bottles.
The gauge is compatible with a range of container shapes and sizes, and provides repeatable and comprehensive measurement of critical bottle dimensions including weight, push up and ID.
The system, which can work unattended to perform a number of critical measurements, serves as an alternative to the tedious hand measurement of bottles.
Drinktec will take place from 16 to 20 September in Munich, Germany.
