Axon, a division of Pro Mach, will unveil the stainless steel version of the Aurora, a series of in-line mandrel-style shrink sleeve applicators at West Pack from 12-14 February 2013 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.
Prime and Premium, the two Aurora models, offer applicator speeds up to 150 and 300 full-body shrink sleeves per minute, respectively.
According to the US-based company, the models also feature a modular EtherNet/IP control platform from Rockwell Automation.
The stainless steel frame options are available in 304 grade and 316 grade for wet-filling rooms and increased corrosion resistance respectively, and are ideal for full shrink sleeve labeling for beverages, dairy products, household chemicals, nutraceuticals, and pharmaceuticals.
Axon vice president and general manager Brad Wegner said the company offers a wide range of shrink and stretch-sleeving equipment from flexible electro-pneumatic to servo-driven machines.
"We have equipment to satisfy any production requirement and are able to grow with the customer. Our focus is on maximum uptime and maximum customer satisfaction," Wegner said.
