Cortec has launched its newly reformulated, recyclable Cor-Pak VpCI Stretch Film, which provides corrosion protection solution for primary packaging and unitization.
Produced by the company and its European Subsidiary EcoCortec, the stretch wrap offers both vapor phase and contact protection to carbon and galvanized steels, aluminum, copper, brass, zinc and other metals.
According to the company, the film delivers added puncture resistance and load holding, and allows users to down-gauge while still containing aggressive loads and producing a better package.
Cortec's Cor-Pak VpCI Stretch Film offers improved handling stability when forming a unit load while also providing tamper resistance, better storage, and dust and moisture protection.
The film resists puncture under maximum ASTM D1709-04 dart drop load, does not contain polyisobutylene (PIB) or other tackifiers in cling layer and is FDA-approved for use on food handling equipment.
