The investment firm Mutares sold the veneer converter HIB-Trim Parts to its competitor NBHX. The sale took effect retroactively to 1 January. The German Federal Cartel Office approved the merger on 16 May and the sale closed on 28 May. Both HIB and NBHX produce decorative elements for vehicle interiors made out of veneer, plastic, carbon, aluminium and leather.
