Shown is a portion of the Marshalltown's Early American Glass Club's collection displayed at the Historical Society of Marshall County Museum, 202 E. Church St.
Some of the more unique pieces are a Liberty Bell emblem plate, made from pressed glass, a Mount Vernon bread tray made from blue glass, a William McKinley mug and "It's God Way ... His Will Be Done" also a McKinley themed-piece and made from pressed glass.
Samples of glassware from many states are on display as well.
The collection has been housed in the museum's board room for many years. However, earlier this year, the collection was moved to the newly remodeled meeting room, which provides better lighting and enhanced visibility to the public.
The glass club is one of the oldest, active clubs in Marshalltown, having celebrated its 75th anniversary in May.
The museum is open Tuesday through Thursday, 10-4 p.m.
