Flint Group Flexographic Products has introduced the new high durometer digital photopolymer flexographic printing plate, nyloflex ACE UP Digital.
Specially designed to be used with water based inks in corrugated preprint and aseptic packaging printing, the new plate is said to be suitable for UV flexo printing.
According to the extensive field tests conducted by the company, the plate offers a better printing quality, better ink transfer on paper and rough substrates that leads to high ink density and homogenous, smooth solids.
The new plate also provides defined highlight areas, text, line work and barcodes, while it displays a long run life and stability in printing that improves efficiency.
The low surface tack of the plate is claimed to decrease attraction of paper dust and dirt to increase production and durability of the plate.
Nyloflex ACE UP Digital is slated for launch in the market by middle of February 2014.
