ARC Group has formed a partnership with Ancient City Brewing on the first of which could become a new line of Dick's craft beers.
The new beer, dubbed Victory Lane Amber Ale, would be available at all the Dick’s Wings & Grill restaurants in three to four weeks time.
The two partners are expecting to add more craft beers in what they have named as the Dick's Craft Beers range.
Medium-bodied amber ale, Victory Lane Amber Ale has a mild caramel and hop aroma, toasted malt and sweet flavor. It is also said to have a flash of fresh hop to give a clean finish on the palate.
The first craft beer of Dick's Wings has an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 5.3%.
Victory Lane Amber Ale is claimed to be specially formulated by the partners to go along with the restaurant’s chicken wings and boneless chicken wings.
ARC Group CEO Richard Akam said: “Our new 'Victory Lane Amber Ale', named after our customer-favorite chicken wing flavor, was specially formulated to pair perfectly with our world-famous chicken wings.
“It is intended to be easily drinkable by everyone regardless of age or gender, and with an ABV of 5.3%, will help our customers drink in a responsible manner while enjoying our famous chicken wings."
Ancient City Brewing founder and president Greg Tuttle said “Dick's Wings is a very popular brand, and their chicken wings are the best anywhere. We look forward to working with Rick and his team to design more proprietary craft beers in the future."
Based in St Augustine, Ancient City Brewing has craft beer brands such as Ponce's Pale Ale, Castillo Coconut Porter, Anastasia Island IPA and Galleon's Golden Ale.
