New Engines Is Offered by Volkswagen in 2013 Amarok

Automaker Volkswagen is planning to equip its 2013 Amarok with a new engines once the model enter into production phase at its plant in Hanover, Germany.

The new Amarok will be offered with similar power output for both the manual and the automatic versions, 180hp for the 2.0 BiTurbo TDI diesel engine.

It can carry a load of 3 tonnes with manual transmission while with an automatic transmission it can carry a load of 3.2 tonnes.

Volkswagen said that the change in the power doesn't affect the fuel efficiency or CO2 emissions.

The BlueMotion technologies are now packing 122 HP and 180 HP with a manual transmission for both the rear-wheel drive or the all-wheel drive versions.

The technologies will help reduce the fuel consumption by 0.5 litres for every 100 km it runs.

The BlueMotion Volkswagen Amarok will feature the start/stop system, energy braking recuperation system, low resistance tires.
