US-based prime label printer, Imprinting Systems has invested in a new Mark Andy’s 4-color EP label press in a bid to expand its productions operations in North Carolina.
The Mark Andy Digital One label press was selected by Imprinting Systems to bring digital production in-house and increase the digital and short run efficiency.
Mark Andy said that the press is an all-inclusive label production solution, which involves in inline converting and finishing. It also has the ability to add flexo decoration to labels with a single multi-purpose print station.
Imprinting Systems currently runs one standard shift a day on the press. It is filling the press with a diverse assortment of prime labels.
The firm, which currently runs three Mark Andy flexo label presses, serves primary markets ranging from healthcare to animal products to food and beverage.Imprinting Systems also operates the Digital One in-line digital printing and converting system.
Mark Andy digital product advisor Bridgette Bridges said: “Imprinting is at a great spot to continue to grow with the Digital One.
“It’s exciting to see more and more companies take the plunge with entry-level digital and offer more to their customers in return.”
Last month, Primera Polska had purchased Mark Andy Digital One label press for installation at its Zory production facility in the southern region of Poland.
