Zip-Pack has launched Vector,an upgraded bag resealing that offers greater protection for food products from moisture and becoming stale.
Zip-Pack European sales manager Kai Schildwachter said that although resealing strips for food products exist, most of them do not often seal packs well, reported Foodproductiondaily.com.
In contrast, the new Vector design involves a series of rib and groove lines on the inside of packets, which would allow consumers to reseal the covers easily without alignment problems.
It can replace standard strips meant for packs of food products such as cereals, crisps and nuts,Schildwachter added.
Traditional packaging closures could also incorporate Vector seals into packs with only minimum adjustments. Moreover, they could also be combined with Zip-Pack's Zip360 wide mouth pack concept to offer Vector closures around the top of a packet.
