Interlink Electronics has announced the integration of its Force-Sensing Resistor (FSR) 402 sensor in Introtek's PRO Occlusion Detector, a sensor which has been designed for packaging, medical, laboratory and pharmaceutical applications.
Introtek's PRO Occlusion Detector detects occlusion in soft tubing and produces corresponding output signal.
According to Interlink, FSR 402 is part of the company's FSR 400 series. FSRs are polymer thick film (PTF) two-wire devices that exhibit a decrease in resistance with increase in the force applied to the surface of the sensor.
The ultra thin sensors are simple and easy to integrate into a wide range of user interface and data capture solutions.
