Italian manufacturer of packaging systems OCME will unveil a new system called DryBlock, which helps in designing and managing the entire packaging end of line.
The system will be introduced in Parma at OCME's headquarter between 9 to 27 September 2013.
Designed to meet recurring needs that come from the consumer goods industries, the DryBlock system combines the complete dry part of a production line into a single, integrated and synchronized Monoblock.
The new system helps in reducing energy consumption by about 36%, minimizes costs, increases efficiency as well as reduces space.
With the new solution, the format changes are automated and made quickly, for a wide range of bottles or containers, even hard to manage bottles with shaped forms and light materials.
DryBlock features several modules, which will include a labeler, a packaging machine and a palletizing module that typically comprises a layer formation unit and one or more robots - or alternatively traditional palletizers.
With the new solution, customers will have an option to defer the investment by procuring different components at different times.
The new solution will also be showcased at Drinktec 2013 to be held in Munich between 16 to 20 September.
