GoGo squeeZ, a squeezable fruits product brand owned by French group Materne, has partnered with TerraCycle, a US-based upcycling and recycling company, for GoGo squeeZ Brigade, a free recycling program.
The recycle program will enable the individual or the organization to participate and ship their used pouches for free of charge. For every GoGo squeeZ pouch received by the TerraCycle, the Brigade member earns two points that are redeemable for several charitable gifts or a donation of two cents to put toward their school, religious organization, or any charity of their choice.
Consumers can sign up for free and can download a prepaid UPS shipping label from their TerraCycle account and mail in their used pouches free of cost.
The program will not only help to divert waste ending up in landfills but also enable participants to raise funds needed for communities across Canada to educate and empower kids.
TerraCycle Canada general manager Nina Purewal said the company is thrilled about partnering with Materne and launching the GoGo squeeZ Brigade.
"It's wonderful to work with brands who take a vested interest in driving sustainability practices and share our goal to eliminate the idea of waste," Purewal said.
