Packaging producer in the US, UFP Technologies is all set to introduce its new packaging products for the BioPharm industry.
The company will feature its BioShell Suspension Pack which has been designed to protect single use biopharmaceutical bags during freezing, storage, and shipping and to fit almost any bag size at any fill level.
The bags are secured tightly within a durable film that suspends allowing them to move within a cushion of air.
According to the company, BioShell can be frozen and shipped within an insulated container to the destination. The suspension film absorbs shocks during impact.
The company will also introduce its T-Tubes, which have moisture, chemical and UV resistance along with low smoke flame and toxicity properties.
Also to be introduced are foam caps, Tri-Covers designed to block and protect stainless steel sanitary ends and to fit stainless steel ends of flex hoses, transfer panels, gas lines and other ferrules.
Made from inert and UV stable cross-linked polyethylene foams, Tri-Covers fit securely over stainless steel ends to eliminate the threat of lodging inside fittings or lines.
The company will introduce its products at Interphex 2013 taking place 23 to 25 April at the Javits Center in New York.
