UK-based Packaging Automation and Australian firm Perfect Automation have launched Perfectseal package, in a bid to provide better services for the customers.
Perfectseal provides a package, including machine, packaging and service support, for one monthly payment.
Under the package, a range of trays such as biodegradable trays will be offered for the customers in Australia. It enables customers to pick trays, film and machines quickly and easily.
Perfectseal can be changed to film sealed punnets and trays from clam shell or flow wrapped packs.
Film sealed packs use less packaging compared to clam shell packs, creating more space for stacking and transportation. It will also help to create a stand out pack on the shelf.
Perfectseal, which enables to create an effective pack with colorful custom shaped trays and pre-printed branded film, can be supplied in a resealable specification to improve hygiene after opening and allow stacking of packs in the fridge.
To simplify the packing process, the use by and sell by dates can be printed onto the film at the point of sealing.
The package can be used for different tray materials such as plastic, board, foil and compostable board.
Perfectseal enables to seal all packaging formats on the same machine with minimal interruption to the packing line.
Within few minutes, switching from one tray or punnet shape to another and one printed film design to an alternative can be completed.
According to the company, the small machines with speeds of up to 30 packs per minute will be provided for the customers new to film sealing.
