German automobile manufacturer Volkswagen is planning to commence production of the Cross Up hatchback.
The car was first unveiled as a concept at the Frankfurt Auto Show in Germany in 2011 and was designed for use in cities.
The Cross Up will be a five door hatchback sporting a 1.0L three-cylinder engine which will be available in two variants,60 HP and 75 HP.
The car will feature large,metallic bar like bumper with fog lights and the license plate on the front,metallic side-view mirror caps and rear bumper.
The vehicle is part of Volkswagen's Up car series and will be taller than its previous models with raised suspension.
