Apple is seeking patent for iPad Smart Cover packaging designed by chief inventor Jony Ive.
Apple says the design of packaging should go beyond the aesthetic appeal where it should make insertion and removal of the product by the consumer easily once they have purchased it, according to the appleinsider.com
According to its application, the company said though in the past, many designs and techniques used to package products have generally worked well, there is always a desire to improve packaging, such that improved functionality and/or appearance is provided.
The design of the packaging should be in such a way that it makes it easy for consumers to return it without destroying the packaging, according to the company.
