French carmaker Peugeot is planning to unveil the production variant of 208 XY at Paris Motor Show later this month.
The new mini car will be powered by a 1.6 e-HDi diesel with either 92 hp or 115 hp, and mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed auto transmission.
The petrol variant will be offered with two powertrain options which include, 1.6 VTi 120 and 1.6 THP 155.
Peugeot 208 XY comes with a Park Assist security feature, which will assist the driver in measuring the parking space until the required space is detected.
The company has already launched the concept variant of the new model at Geneva Motor Show in March 2012.
