Responsible packaging manufacturer in the UK, Paragon Print & Packaging has announced the launch of the chilled vegetarian range under the Linda McCartney brand in new packaging styles.
The eight product range available in Waitrose and Asda stores across the UK, features a new Lentil and Vegetable Cottage Pie and Vegetarian Sausage Hotpot.
The two new packaging styles use flexographic and lithographic print techniques and have been printed at the company's Sleeves & Cartons division.
Paragon Print claims that the minimized packaging design is a proof to the McCartney's environmental commitment with Paragon being selected for its responsible packaging credentials.
Rob Dixon from Linda McCartney meals manufacturer Hain Daniels said the packs serve as a way to show the food quality which has been a key part of the offering from Linda McCartney Foods.
"The new chilled range has been designed to appeal to consumers looking for meat free food - either vegetarian, or meat reducers," Dixon said.
