UK-based Linpac Packaging has joined the Institute of Customer Service (ICS) to gain the ServiceMark standard, which, through its LINcare program would approve its efforts to deliver better standards of service to its customers.
The program makes it easy for customers to inform the company if it falls short of expectations. It consists of a set of business service standards which inform customers about the quality of service they can expect, packagingeurope.com reported.
Linpac Packaging marketing and innovation vice president Jo Stephenson said, "By joining the ICS we hope to earn accreditation which reinforces this intent and recognises our achievements so far."
According to the food packaging company, the National Customer Service Standard from the ICS ServiceMark is achieved through a combination of components including self assessment, customer feedback measurement and independent on-site assessments.
ICS, the professional body, is dedicated to leading customer service performance and professionalism.
