Sugar Australia has roped in PlasPak's for the new packaging design of its CSR sugar.
The company asked for the addition of an easy pour and store option to existing CSR sugar packaging, which was previously limited to paper and film packs, according to ferret.com.au.
The new packaging features an integral handle with a grip feature, in order to provide ease of pouring, visibility and storage functionality for the end user.
According to the company, when the consumer packaging is designed, it is typically with a view of 'single use', that is, the consumer can use it as long as he/she needs the product, and then discard it.
The new format not only increases consumer convenience, but also is resealable, refillable and recyclable, meaning it can be readily reused for a variety of other household needs.
