US-based National Bulk Equipment (NBE) has launched a new bulk bag filling system, which has been designed to ensure extended duty cycles in demanding operating environments.
The new NBE bulk bag filler is built on a corrosion-resistant, hot-dip galvanized, stainless steel and carbon steel structural framework.
According to the company, the bulk bag filler has an application-specific design and construction and ensures repeatable operation at process rates of up to 30,000lbs/hr.
To make certain that each bulk bag is filled to a safe load, the bag filler has an automated densification platform, isolated from the framework deck.
The platform directs 3Gs of high-speed, low-intensity vibration during the filling sequence to the base of the bag, to settle material in the bulk bag uniformly. It enables processing and packaging operations to run production at designed speeds, even in harsh application environments.
