Flexible packaging firm ProAmpac has acquired US-based Trinity Packaging for an undisclosed sum.
Based in Armonk of New York, Trinity provides flexible packaging solutions to the lawn and garden, food and specialty industrial markets.
Specialized in large format packaging, the company has operations in Rocky Mount of Virginia and Buffalo of New York.
The combined firm will provide products and services for a range of end markets, comprising of food, pet care, healthcare, lawn care, retail and secure packaging to transport cash and valuables.
In addition, the combined firm includes 22 manufacturing sites and 3,000 employees to serve around 5,000 customers in 90 countries.
Trinity Packaging, which will continue to operate with the same name, will be placed as separate division within ProAmpac.

Last November, Pritzker Group Private Capital acquired US-based flexible packaging company ProAmpac from private equity firm Wellspring Capital Management.
ProAmpac offers a range of products and capabilities, including wide web extrusion coating and laminating of film, foil, paperboard and nonwovens, metallizing, pouching, bag converting and rotogravure and flexographic printing.
