Paper-based packaging producer Smurfit Kappa will exhibit its MirriNor metallized board, Norboard graphical boards and composite tubes for the premium and luxury packaging markets at Packaging Innovations show.
Smurfit Kappa's T-Flute and MirriNor T-Flute board are said to be positioned as an alternative to traditional carton boards and targeted towards premium brands. The company will also introduce various preprinted boards.
Launched in 2011, T-Flute allows brand owners and packaging designers to performance engineer their packaging.
Metallized T-Flute MirriNor is being specified by artisan brands, including the WoldTop Brewery and The Gusbourne Estate Sparkling Winery.
Specialist division Smurfit Kappa Norboard will exhibit its innovations in graphical board for display, POS and RRP packaging.
Smurfit Kappa Norboard also manufactures a range of unmetallized board products, including litho display board that offers better print quality on G and F-Flute.
Smurfit Kappa Norboard technical sales manager Richard Revell said, "Packaging Innovations gives us the opportunity to meet in person with Brand Managers and Packaging Designers from top brands and to showcase how Smurfit Kappa's world-leading knowledge, expertise and innovation can help transform brands, lifting them into the premium sector."
The Packaging Innovations show will take place on 1 and 2 October 2013 at The Business Design Centre, in Greater London.
