Tenex Health, a medical device maker, has secured CE Marking for its TX System, which can be c.
Tenex Health founder and CEO Jagi Gill said that the TX System has enjoyed tremendous clinical and commercial success in the US since its introduction in 2012.
"The CE Marking is an important milestone in allowing the company to provide our revolutionary therapy to patients on a global basis.
"We have already received strong interest from physicians around the world who wish to deliver our technology to countless patients who suffer from tendon pain," Gill added.
The firm is finalizing its strategic plan to commence the commercial launch in select markets outside the US.
So far, the TX System has been used to treat more than 6,000 patients and clinical results have shown both safety and meaningful clinical outcomes.
The company claimed that approximately 90% of patients reported pain-free results and a return to full activity within weeks of treatment.
Moreover, the TX system is cost effective as patients can be treated in an outpatient environment under local anesthesia in 20 minutes or less and does not need any additional need for physical therapy or other medical treatment.
