Paper-based packaging solutions provider Smurfit Kappa, along with egg producer Domaine du Tauzia, has developed a Pouch-Up packaging solution for liquid eggs.
The new pack, which is lightweight and unbreakable, is available in two packaging sizes such as 1L and 2L.
Smurfit Kappa said the pouring spout at the top of the pack will allow an adapted and clean flow of the liquid eggs.
The company has specifically designed BIB700 SUP machine to fill liquid egg in Pouch-Up. It features an advanced filling valve with two separate circuits.
Domaine du Tauzia sales director Didier Daste said: "Liquid eggs packaged in Pouch-Up are a first on the market. They help us innovate and diversify."
"Designed for the catering sector in 2016, the Pouch-Up has really conquered the bakers and pastry network in 2015."
Smurfit Kappa has also launched new mandrel case former SKMF 146 to provide effective and optimized packaging machine solution for customers.
The SKMF 146 has been developed to offer flexibility to pack multiple design formats and change the design of their packaging to maximize shopper impact in store.
