Swiss producer of Polyfoil tubes, Neopac has developed the new AirShield-Tube, a two-component valve that prevents air from flowing back into the tube when the contents are dispensed.
The barrier properties of Polyfoil and AirShield combine to give maximum protection to products that are oxygen-sensitive, even after the tube is first opened.
With this, the quality and effect of the products remain unchanged throughout their use.
According to the company, the development of the new tube allows it to fulfil the requirements of the cosmetics industry, which is on look out for a packaging that protects the sensitive contents.
Neopac provides tubes for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and dental industries for capacities ranging from 1ml to 300 ml.
