Taiwan-based food containers producer See Box is exhibiting its new digital printing technology Riiqi Cup brand of Ingeo cold cups at this year’s Interpack event in Germany.
The event is being held from 4 to 10 May in Düsseldorf.
See Box's Ingeo bioplastic cold cup food serviceware can be used at sporting and music events, festivals and fairs, and public and private food courts.
The company has invested in an advanced Swiss digital printing technology to add a new dimension to food serviceware, in addition to increasing the use of compostable cups and decrease plastic waste buried in landfills.
Based on the new digital printing technology, the firm is also introducing new V-Cup series of Ingeo cups, which are available in 10, 12, 16, 20, and 24 ounce sizes.
Based in Taoyuan City, See Box produces Ingeo-based cups, bowls, and lids with 40 Illig thermoforming machines, 10 extruders and 10 printing machines.
See Box deputy general manager George Pan said: “Food serviceware manufactured from Ingeo bioplastic is growing in usage, which is a very good thing environmentally and socially.
“Entering a new era of mass customization and truly vibrant graphics makes these food service items even more attractive. We anticipate the added features offered by this process will stimulate demand.”
NatureWorks, which is a manufacturer of Ingeo bioplastic, will showcase latest Ingeo based transparent packaging for form, fill, and seal (FFS) dairy and dessert packaging from Arcil Synerlink at the event.
