Automated Packaging Systems Introduced The New Fas Sprint Revolution

UK-based Automated Packaging Systems has introduced the new FAS SPrint Revolution, which has been designed for small to medium sized frozen and IQF packaging operations.

The system is also said to be suitable for those who pack specialty and seasonal foods in shorter production runs and is capable of bagging at speeds of up to 22m per minute.

Engineered to satisfy high-productivity requirements, the packaging system presents a conveyor of pre-opened staged for immediate loading.

The 1.5m wide load area features a 150mm pass-through, and tilts vertically for maintenance and cleaning routines.

In order to ensure quality bag seals, a Coordinated Motion Seal Flattener is coupled with a band sealing system.

The system, which operates in continuous, intermittent or batch modes, cycles on pre-set parameters or with a footswitch manually.

Typical applications of the system include meat, poultry, fish and meat by-products; fresh produce, fruits and vegetables; fresh and dried pastas; fresh and frozen snack foods; and pet food products.
