Global biscuit, chocolate and confectionery firm Pladis signed a preferred supplier agreement with Bosch Packaging Technology at Interpack 2017.
Bosch will now serve as one of Pladis’ global preferred suppliers of process and packaging technology for bakery, chocolate, and confectionery products.
Both the companies will support in various areas ranging from processing and automation technology to packaging machines and systems for primary and secondary packaging.
Plaids had already installed Bosch’s multiple automated packaging solutions for use in biscuits, chocolate and confectionery applications, helping to effectively carrying packaging processes.
Bosch Packaging Technology president Stefan König said: “Our relationship with pladis is a perfect example of our system solution approach in operation.

Recently, Bosch Packaging Technology has opened a new customer solutions center in the Netherlands for vertical packaging.
Situated in Weert, the new center will enable food and non-food producers to select a complete vertical system solution for their packaging operation.
At the center, the company is showcasing various systems for the confectionery, chocolate, nuts, snacks and powder industries. Experts will also available for on-site consultation at the facility.
Bosch produces packaging solutions for the various industries, including pharma, biopharma, fine chemicals, medical devices and diagnostics.
The company also provides packaging solutions for food and confectionary and other industries.
