US-based dispensing equipment manufacturer Nordson has completed the purchase of Germany-based Kreyenborg Group’s polymer processing companies.
According to Nordson, the acquired companies are Kreyenborg, BKG Bruckmann and Kreyenborg Granuliertechnik.
Nordson president and CEO Michael Hilton said the new companies were now included to its portfolio of engineered melt stream components to serve original equipment manufacturer (OEM) machine builder customers in plastic extrusion markets.
"The new businesses also bring product solutions that expand Nordson's addressable market to include plastic compounding, recycling and related applications," Hilton added.
Nordson is engaged in engineering, manufacturing and marketing products and systems used for dispensing and processing of adhesives, coatings, polymers and plastics, sealants, and biomaterials, and for fluid management, testing and inspection, surface treatment, and curing.
