Charapak and Forum Packaging Have Launched Flexolam System for Shelf-Ready Packaging

Packaging companies Charapak and Forum Packaging have launched the new Flexolam system, a flexible alternative to pre-printed sheets, suitable to the requirements of shelf-ready packaging (SRP).

The new Flexolam system uses flexographic pre-print technology to create images for on-shelf appeal and offers a choice of a wide range of corrugated base substrate to complement it.

Flexolam offers the quality of finish that creates the type of designs required for SRP applications while its value pricing and flexibility are important benefits in cost-conscious markets.

Claimed to be suitable for mid to high-volume print requirements, Flexolam recognizes the demands of how packaging should look and perform on the shelf and how color consistency is vital. It can offer print in up to eight colors.

The options include full and spot water-based lacquers, gloss or matt finishes and UV gloss lacquer which can give better impact for any type of SRP packaging.

The system has the ability to run in smaller batch quantities and offers flexibility as well as better stock control.
