US-based Adept Technology has unveiled its new east coast robotic automation application and demo center at its facility in Amherst, New Hampshire.
At the new 5,000ft2 center, Adept customers and system integrators can know about advanced robotic packaging, handling, dispensing or assembling applications in real time using the company's robots and vision guidance as well as conveyor controls.
According to the company, all its mobile robot models are available for testing both commercial and research applications.
Adept North American sales vice president Merrill Apter said the new demonstration center can be accessed from several airports and is located nearer to its end-users and system integrator partners.
"The facility has all the capabilities of our other technical centers and is staffed by Adept Application engineers who have extensive expertise in flexible manufacturing, primary and secondary food packaging." Apter added.
The Amherst facility is said to be latest addition to the company's other worldwide technical locations in California, Germany, France, Singapore and China.
At the facility, Adept will provide design, programming, testing and training for all Adept kinematics including Cobra SCARA, Viper 6-Axis, Python linear modules and Quattro parallel model as well as flexible feeding solutions including the Adept Anyfeeder and Flexibowl.
