PMMI Announced The Center for Trends & Technology

PMMI, the owner and producer of PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2013 (Las Vegas Convention Center, Sept. 23-25), announced the Center for Trends & Technology (CTT): Improving Production through Innovation, sponsored by Rockwell Automation and its PartnerNetwork Program. Rockwell Automation is the sole sponsor of this new highlight featured on the PACK EXPO show floor.

"CTT will be a gathering spot for attendees who want to learn about new and emerging technologies to improve production," says Charles D. Yuska, President & CEO, PMMI. "We're pleased to work with Rockwell Automation, which is such an important innovator, to bring this new exhibit to life."

Located in the Central Hall (Booth 1358), attendees will find plenty of opportunities to learn at the CTT. Cutting-edge learning sessions and dynamic displays will showcase trends like network security, line integration, secure remote monitoring, cloud computing and manufacturing convergence. Visitors will then be shown where to see the solutions in action across the show floor.
"We're excited about this opportunity," says Mike Wagner, Rockwell Automation. "Visitors to CTT will find new ways to achieve their goals as they explore how the technologies on display can help them to shorten time to market, maximize technology investments and facilitate regulatory compliance and ultimately strengthen brand equity."

Yuska calls the underlying message of CTT, "Improving Production through Innovation," very powerful.

"In a very real way, CTT reinforces the message PMMI and PACK EXPO have put forth for years: Packaging and processing technologies have to work in tandem, and PACK EXPO is about finding that total systems solution," he says.

With more than 26,000 packaging and processing professionals, 1,600 exhibitors and over 650,000 net square feet of exhibit space, PACK EXPO Las Vegas 2013 will be the most comprehensive packaging and processing trade show in the world this year.
